This Strawberry Watermelon Mint Infused Vitamin Water is refreshing and healthy. One of my goals this summer is to drink more water. I am talking 92 ounces a day. That’s A LOT of water.
Drinking so much H2O takes some work, but this recipe for thirst-quenching infused water makes it fun to do.
And let’s be totally honest, the fact that this fruit-filled pitcher is filled with micro-nutrients is a huge bonus.
If you could eat just one fruit for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Mine would be watermelon!
I had to add some watermelon to the mix. In fact, they are the perfect fruit to infuse with. I also added strawberries to this recipe. They are packed with folate and vitamin C, which added some healthy goodness. They give a bit of sweetness to the water, and a beautiful color.
Now let’s talk nutrients:
Watermelon is packed with Vitamin A and Vitamin C. It has so much natural water in the fruit, that it infused nicely. Strawberries also have a lot of Vitamin C. f you were to eat a cup. it would be 120% of the daily requirement.
The last ingredient in this recipe is Mint. It is said to have medicinal qualities.
This combination is so delicious. This is the only summer water recipe that will do in our family!
