I have to admit I love the idea of a lemon party for a birthday, baby shower or Easter brunch. Partially because I live in California and my lemon tree is blowing up around Easter time. Also because I always host at my house and brunch seems to be the way to keep everyone happiest.
Fruit and pancakes for brunch keep little kids happy, and my elegant hams keep the adults satisfied. Having a gathering earlier in the day leaves sunlight for the kids to egg hunt, and the easy, yet filling, spread keep the costs down so I don’t have to ask people to bring much.
