Hola, everyone! I am completely obsessed with these fiesta themed decorated sugar cookies. They were a big hit at my Cinco De Mayo party, but you can make these for any Mexican theme celebration.
You will notice I have a bit of a love for Mexico. To name even a few, I have posted my Spiked Mexican Hot Chocolate Recipe, Day of the Dead traditions, and this crazy cute Fiesta Birthday Party.
There is something about the rich traditions, warm weather and amazing food that always tugs my heartstrings.
Yummy Cactus Cookie
This cactus has a simple cactus shape and green royal icing. The little pink flower detail is so fun as well.
You must have a Sombrero
I am not talking about wearing an actual sombrero to the party, but eating one is perfect. Love the pom details on the hat brim. The festive colors of red, blue, green and pink stand out. So fun!
I think of heat!
This chili is the right stuff for a real Mexican fiesta. Who doesn’t love a little chili heat with all that amazing food. Street tacos and so much more.
Dancing in the Dark
Love this maraca decorated sugar cookie. The bright blue frosting tasted as good as it looks.
Fiesta Themed Decorated Sugar Cookies
I like to have 3 or 4 variations of themed cookies. This collection set the mood.
One of my favorite moments in this party was our tablescape, complete with a mix of store bought and garden flowers.
Eventually, I will write a post on how to do this mix floral DIY, as there are a few easy tricks to it.
For now, enjoy this floral and a snapshot of the party scape.
