Dyeing Easter Eggs is a great tradition we have. But before you dip all of your eggs in the bright dye, save a few for this no-dye Easter Egg printable. Or better yet, use faux eggs so you can display these sweet dapper bunnies all season long!
Free Easter Printables – Dapper Bunnies
We created these adorable DIY dapper bunnies for you to create for Easter this year. These are free Easter printables. Yes… free! It is like Humpty Dumpty and the Elf on the Shelf have been merged into one. I enjoy the idea these can sit on my shelf through the holiday. These are so easy, even your kids can do it.
Super Easy DIY
Most of you could figure this out without instructions, but I wanted to give you some guidance on how to get this craft going. Just print out as many copies of each version that you want on cardstock. There are three designs to choose from. Each has its own style and matching shoes. Just print and cut out the shapes. The link to the Easter printables is at the bottom of the page.
You will notice on each printable a lighter area on the clothes, this is where the glue or double-sided tape goes to keep everything all together.
Next, you want to make the ears. The ears are easy to do as well – just pinch the bottom part together like the ear is folding in half, this will give it dimension. Glue or tape the hat into a circle. Glue or tape your ears inside.
It is not complete until the egg is in for the dapper bunny’s head. You can dye your egg or keep it natural. It is best if it hard-boiled – the weight of the egg keeps the bunny stable. Pick any expression you like. I decided to have several different distinct looks.
The outfit needs that final bowtie. Glue that on as well. Now you can assemble him. The upper part of the body sits on the lower legs to create the sitting effect. You have the option to fold the shoes just a bit for a realistic look. Now your dapper bunny looks dashing.
