Cuddly Teddy Bear Birthday Party

This is it! We are graduating from parenting a two year old, and you have to know that we are doing a happy dance. Our first child really didn’t go through a terrible two phase, and yet age three was challenge. You sometimes hear that about first born. Is it wrong to hope if I have a strong willed two year old, that my work is done and I get to have age three off? Don’t burst my bubble. Who’s with me!

So this year I wanted to have a backyard birthday for my daughter Bella’s third birthday. This way our family can come and stay after to barbecue.  Of course, I had to pick a theme I had not seen before and something true to my boo’s little personality. We always call her Bella Bear or Bella Bee. Both of which stem from her cuddly and yet rambunctious personality.

So here we have the start of my set up for our Cuddly Teddy Bear Birthday Party.

Here is a tip: I get the Etsy invite and upload to Paperless Post custom invitationv ia my iphone. Then I print a few copies to put around the party.  No addressing envelopes.

I’m going to be really honest with you here. I don’t spend a long time planning a party or hours in the kitchen.  I don’t pin for hours and hours. It’s all about having an amazing party with my simple formula:  a theme, a cute invite, pretty cookies and cupcakes, activities that will be easy and loved and food.

I super love you Ritsy Bakes. These cookies you made were perfect for my theme. A little mixy-matchy is always my favorite.  She also got them to me in a week with custom colors. Oops, did I just admit that I only planned this a week ahead?

Cookies + gold stars + teddy bears

Got this custom cake topper from Etsy as well.  I love the gold shimmer and the design of the letters. Of course, now I have to bake a cake, but it will be worth it. Stay tuned for more on this, but for now here is another cake post.  Got my bear napkins in just a few days from Oh Happy Day Party Shop.  Look at these little faces, and these little gold shimmer star plates are from the Tinselbox shop.
