This party created by M&J Kreations literally took my breath away. It has a modern bohemian influence with such elegance. I will admit I have a weakness for anything gold, so the shimmering details in this little boy’s first birthday party made my heart skip a beat. This stylishly adventurous, boho chic party just had to be shared. It was inspired by the black and white striped tee-pee and embellished with arrows and dream catchers. This party was for one lucky boy!
“Wild One”
This birthday party celebrated a one year birthday and was set in sunny Whittier, California. We love the rustic flair with great details. I always say that the first birthday is a celebration for the parents as well. You did it, mom and dad!
There were lots of cute details from Kitty Party Supply. Not just the tablecloths, chairs and other party supplies but even the little seating logs for kids. They have so many amazing things to make a party special.
A plate full of beautifully crafted cookies can set the mood at any party, and these do not disappoint. These were baked and designed by Sweets by Gigi. My friend who is a party baker encouraged me years ago to start buying one dozen cookies for each party that I throw. I love a simple to execute, yet high impact party idea. Her advice was on point because gorgeous cookies really set the mood.
This trail mix bar is so much fun. M&J Kreations used pretzels, peanuts, M&M’s, gummy worms and Chex mix which could be scooped together in a cute box. And of course, each treat was in its own galvanized bucket. Darling & delicious!
If you want to have your own trail mix bar you will:
- Choose your fillings (think nuts, candies, yogurt pieces and add a few surprises like these gummy worms.)
- Fill up buckets with each of the guests’ choices and add some scoops to each
- Add a chalkboard sign to direct your guests to “make their own trail mix”
- Lastly, embellish to-go boxes or bags for party-goers. These double as a snack and a favor.
Young, Wild & Free
This event was for a “Wild One” (one year old’s birthday), however, you can call your party “Wild & Young & 33” or “Wild & In Love”. You get the idea.
I would call my party “Wild Mommy’s Birthday”. She says chuckling at her own joke. This sign was created by Vintarristaprops, and they ship. So, it turns out I can make my wild mommy sign anytime I like!
The boxwood background was such a nice touch by From the Heart Events.
The mixture of black, white, blue and gold make for a great color story, so these cake pops are just too perfect.
