Blunt “Not-Your-Average” Valentine’s

For some people, sarcasm is family skill. That is the case for mine. If you were the butt of a joke, then you know that you were loved. That’s why I created these blunt not your average Valentines.

Being the time when people send notes of love and appreciation to family and friends, I knew mine had to be a true reflection of that sarcasm. And being that most cards are heavy on love and kisses, I knew I would have to make mine. So below is what I call Blunt Valentine’s. Some are more “witty” than others, and trust me – these are much tamer than the ones I am creating for some close friends. I have also made these as free downloadable/printables if you wanted to give some blunt valentines this Feb 14th.

I also cut the cards out and glued them to some hot pink blank cards so that I could write a long message and have envelopes. These are a few of the the Blunt Valentine’s in a nutshell:

• “My Heart Burns for You” with a real heart
• “You are so sweet you make my teeth hurt”
• “It’s just a Valentine, not a marriage proposal”
• “Let’s just be Facebook friends”
• “I love you like a fat kid loves cake” (song lyric)
